Here is the preview of windows 10 task bar which consists of 2 new icons , and the icon for windows explorer has adopted a flat style
The Search button enables the user to search for items both on the web and the pc
In windows 10,Microsoft has adopted a flat icon style which is the trend right now,the icons that we seen when opening the explorer has also got flat!
The another icon, which is similar to android multitasking is the multiple desktop which was there in linux variants and now it has come to windows without any third party software
It increases the productivity and Workspace,a really useful feature
Search buttons brings the classic start menu type interface where the user can search and it also features trending topics
Multiple desktop allows the user to add more screens by clicking the plus symbol and also switch between them,nice move by windows
The desktop consists of two icons with a windows watermark below
the icon saying “Welcome to windows technical preview” takes you to the webpage below
Internet Explorer is 11 comes preinstalled and there is a nice animation when launching applications, every application has flat with windows 10
The toast which appeared on the top on windows 8.1 is now moved down to the bottom
Now lets take a look at the explorer
The icons are flat and looks minimalistic
it looks more clean
The start menu is a combination of windows 8 tile and windows 7’s classic start menu,the left half contains applications and the right side contains the tiles
Applications can now be minimized and switched and their behavior is same as regular applications
The start menu changes its color based on the wallpaper
the shut down and restart icons are back which appear when you click on the user name
now it can directly take you to the PC settings replacing the charm bar in windows 8
Start menu will stretch to the right if more applications are installed and we can scroll through it
Windows Store looks a bit modified and the installed applications come to the start menu and you can pin it as tile
The left half of start menu contain tile icons and if it occupies more screen space we can scroll through it
Classic start menu where the user can view all the installed apps
Quick access to PC Settings from the start menu which was present in the earlier versions of windows
Tile applications looks more compact and up to 4 apps can be split into the screen
User can shutdown or restart the windows from the start menu
Here is the System Settings which says “Windows Technical Preview”
Windows is bringing back old features and one major change is the app compatibility which allows the developer to build once and deploy on all windows operating systems like in Android
